The major showjumping events are ones like the Hickstead Derby. In the Hickstead Derby the riders ride down the famous Derby Bank. Hickstead Bank Showjumpers have to be not scared of jumping and they need to not want to knock the fences down. A showjumping round has to be completed in a certain amount of time. The person with the least faults wins. If more than one person has a clear round then there is a jump off. The person with the fastest clear round or with the lowest amount of faults in the jump off wins. They get 3 faults if the horse refuses and 4 faults it they knock a jump down. If they take longer than the required time to complete their round then they get time faults. The events can be inside or outside. You have to work though the levels to qualify.
Milton was the first showjumper to become a millionaire. The grey was ridden by John Whitaker. John's brother Michael rode a bay called Midnight Madness who was proberly his best ride so far.
